I designed my little Sleepy Sheep for a magazine a few years ago using a yarn kit that was sold with the magazine. As those yarn kits are no longer available, I have been asked for some suggestions for alternative yarns to use. My Sleepy Sheep knitting pattern is available to download from LoveCrafts.com. The body of the sheep was knitted in a loop stitch using 25g of a fluffy bouclé DK yarn to make a super cuddly furry toy.
The head and legs of the sheep are knitted in 25g of an acrylic DK weight yarn.
I hope this information is helpful for you to choose which yarn to use for your project. The links above are correct at the time of writing this post, but if any links are broken since, please let me know in the comments.
