Introducing a new free knitting pattern for you, my Itsy Bitsy Gingerbread House decoration for Christmas. The link to the free knitting pattern is below. I worked my house on a pair of straight 2.75 mm (US 2) single-pointed knitting needles and used Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK in shades Soft Fudge and Champagne. After making up the house in brown yarn I embroidered the icing. The icing around the roof edges is in chain stitch, and the windows and door use vertical and horizontal stitches. To finish I added a heart button and bow to decorate it. I also knotted some red and white twine onto the top of the roof to make a hanging loop. My house is 4.5 cm wide, 5 cm tall and 5.5 cm deep. I hope you enjoy making your little houses, keep safe, and happy knitting!
