Recreate the joy of riding the London tube, or imagine exciting trips to come after lockdown with my fun knitted tube train. This makes a super toy, or use it as a draught excluder.
My new knitting pattern is making an exclusive appearance in Simply Knitting magazine this month. You can find the knitting pattern in issue 210, available in shops or you can subscribe online for digital or print editions from Simply Knitting. I made my train in Deramores Studio DK yarns, but any DK (light worsted weight or 8 ply yarn) can be used. This train is knitted flat (back on forth) on a pair of 3.25mm single pointed needles. I made two carriages but you can knit more to make a longer train if you wish. I hope you enjoy knitting your trains, and keep safe out there!
