Exclusive Christmas knits! Two of my Christmas knits are making an exclusive appearance in Simply Knitting magazine this month: Santa’s laundry festive bunting and a cuddly snowman toy. You can find these knitting patterns in issue 204. Little Laundry Christmas BuntingDecorate your room or tree with Santa’s jacket, trousers, hat, mittens, sweater, socks and underpants! I made my outfits in Deramores Studio DK acrylic yarn in three colours: Ebony black, Frost white and Raspberry red. You can use different colours if you wish, and this is super pattern for using up odds and ends of yarn too. PATTERN INFO:
Snow Snuggly Cuddly SnowmanMy snowman is wrapped up in a hat and scarf to keep him warm. I made my snowman extra cuddly by using a fleecy bouclé yarn, which has a lovely soft textured finish. I used a two-colour linen stitch pattern to decorate the hat and scarf, and made a big pompom in the two colours for the hat. The snowman would make a lovely toy, but you could also make it as a bookend or doorstop by putting a weight inside the base. PATTERN INFO:
I hope you enjoy making these festive decorations, keep safe, and happy knitting!
