Looking for some inspiration for Easter knitting projects? Here are 10 springtime sheep knitting patterns from my design archive. I designed all these sheep for knitting on single pointed needles (back and forth). If you prefer knitting in the round then most pieces could be converted to knitting on DPNs if you prefer to do so, and please do get in touch if you have any queries about a specific pattern. Textured Yarns These big sheep are knitted in fleecy boucle yarns to make cuddly and fluffy toys. Knitting Loops Another technique for making a fluffy sheep is to knit loops for the body. I have a tutorial for knitting loops if you are unsure how to do this. Textured Stitches These sheep use moss stitch and garter stitch to give texture to the bodies. The Rest of the Flock These cuddly lambs are playing with their farmyard friends. I hope this gives you some ideas for springtime knitting, please keep safe out there, and happy knitting to you all!
